Artists Statement

My current felt pieces continue my development in creating a narrative in a more abstract way. Although the imagery can be 'read', a more
emotive tale evolves through the simplified and stylised visualisation.

Recurring themes in my work are the Cat and Fiddle road to Buxton, Derbyshire and the coast road along the Lleyn Peninsula.

The dramatic light and weather changes of both places never seeks to
amaze and inspire me and I constantly strive to catch this.
At present I feel that I have hardly scratched the surface.
