Artists Statement

Having spent many years in teaching and lecturing I am enjoying a period of pursuing my own work in textiles, machine embroidery and hand stitching, and painting in oils and acrylics, together with mixed media in 2d and 3d format.

Themes often around environmental issues are important and as a member of a writer's circle I am interested in text and textual qualities. I am a steering committee member of Cheshire Artists Network and a member of North West Textiles.

I exhibit widely both in this country and abroad, and work towards commissions and work in the community.
